Neil Setterington, Managing Director of www.trees-online.co.uk had a decision to make when he launced www.trees-online.co.uk, Were we to include non-native tree species in our tree range? Instinct said no but I felt that to restrict our tree range to native British trees only may discriminate against those who wanted a more diverse woodland. OK, native trees are better for the environment and for habitat creation and stability. Not to have included non-native trees would have removed our ability to offer our customers a range of evergreen conifer varieties, given the paucity of native British evergreen conifer varieties. Are we right or wrong? Contact Neil Setterington at info@trees-online.co.uk to let me know your thoughts
